about

It hardly seems like 38 years since Dingus Khan first crashed on to the scene with their show-stopping debut at the 1979 Eurovision Song Contest. Their dress sense and choreography may have barely evolved in almost four decades and lead singer Mick Squalor has certainly let himself go, but My Number proves the band are as relevant today as they were in their Seventies heyday.

My Number is the second single from Dingus Khan's almost mythical lost album, Dunce Kap. Released digitally to celebrate their triumphant return to Latitude in 2018, following a lengthy ban imposed by festival organisers for a series of alleged misdemeanours* in 2014.

* Mick Squalor was ejected from the festival for inciting a stage invasion during their set, invading the stage during a set by Parquet Courts, impersonating a security guard and swimming across the lake in Henham Park to avoid capture.
